Listen I have been collecting glass for years and I know quality when I see it. The Goo Roo ash catcher has that satisfying heft that cheap borosilicate just does not have. Joint fit is precise, the water stays in the chamber even when you move around, and the diffusion it adds is genuinely noticeable -- each hit comes through cooler and smoother than without it. My bong hasnt needed a deep clean in over a month because all the gunk ends up in here instead. Cleaning the ash catcher itself takes maybe 90 seconds. If youre on the fence just do it.

arrived cracked right at the joint. i mean the main tube of the ash catcher had a visible crack running from the joint stem. clearly happened in shipping, the packaging wasnt padded well enough for glass. contacted customer support and it took two weeks and multiple follow-ups to get a replacement sorted. the replacement seems fine but i shouldnt have had to go through all that. one star until i see how the replacement holds up. glass products need better packaging period
