Ive owned probably a dozen grinders over the years. The brilliant cut grinder is the first one that genuinely impressed me after the first use. The threadless design means the lid seats perfectly every single time and you never deal with that cross-threading issue that ruins cheaper grinders. The plate system is genuinely different, you get to control your grind consistency by how you cut which sounds gimmicky but after a week I found myself actually dialing it in for different sessions. Bowls pack differently than joints and I started to notice. The 7075 aluminum is aerospace grade but it doesnt feel cold or industrial in the hand. Lighter than my santa cruz shredder and honestly better for kief flow even without a dedicated catcher. Made in USA. Lifetime warranty. 88 dollars is a lot for a grinder, it just is, but if youre the kind of person who cares about this stuff youll understand after about three days.

the flat top plate doubles as a prep tray and thats a small thing that ends up being genuinely useful every session. kief situation is fine even without a dedicated catcher because the cut is so clean most of the herb stays together. 7075 aluminum is noticeably lighter than my old zinc grinder and doesnt feel cheap at all. made in usa, lifetime warranty, ill probably never buy another grinder.

Bought this as a gift so I cant speak to long-term durability but the recipient says the grind is great. They mentioned the magnet felt a bit weaker than expected and were hoping for a kief catcher at this price. Still a thoughtful gift and the threadless lid impressed them.

threadless design is the real deal. no more cross-threading, just drop the top on and the magnets snap it closed. been using this thing daily for like 6 months and it still grinds perfect.

its a solid grinder. threadless lid drops on, magnets hold, grinds smooth. chose the medium cut plate and it does exactly what i need for rolling. only docking a star because 88 dollars is a lot to spend on something that just grinds herbs but the quality is there if youre willing to pay.
