I do portable vape comparisons as a hobby so take this with appropriate context. The Pax Flow is the best version of what Pax has always been trying to do. The minimalist pocketable form factor is unmatched -- nothing this slim delivers vapor this good. The hybrid heating is a genuine improvement over the Pax 3, not marketing fluff. You get better extraction, less hot spots in the oven, and the efficiency improvement is real. The app is genuinely useful for temp control and session customization, though I would love a physical button option for people who dont want to pull out their phone every time. The sealed battery is the one real compromise -- if you use this heavily you will be replacing the unit in a few years rather than swapping cells like you can on the POTV One or an Arizer. At this price point that stings a little. But if pocketability and aesthetics matter to you, nothing else comes close.

I have spent more time trying to get this thing to connect to the app than actually using it. Bought it three weeks ago, on my second unit after the first one had an oven lid that wouldnt seat properly. This replacement pairs maybe 1 out of 3 attempts, support told me to reinstall the app which I have done four times. The vapor quality when it works is genuinely good which is why Im not leaving one star but this has been a frustrating experience for a 280 dollar device. Pax QC has really slipped

I want to like this more than I do. The form factor is genuinely unmatched -- nothing this pocketable, nothing this discreet. The hybrid heating is a real improvement. But I have been in the portable vape hobby long enough to know that sealed batteries are a ticking clock. Two years from now this thing will be noticeably weaker on a charge and my only option is to buy a new unit or pay for a battery service that costs almost as much. If pax ever does a user-replaceable battery in that slim chassis I will be first in line. Until then this is a luxury item with planned obsolescence baked in

ok so i preordered this the second it was announced because after years of pax 3 i needed the hybrid heating and honestly it delivers. vapor quality is noticeably smoother and more even, the app is solid though i wish it worked offline too, and the half pack lid is a nice touch for solo sessions. oven cleaning is still a chore but thats just pax life at this point

Great vape. Not thrilled that I need an app to unlock most of the temp control features but at least the app actually works unlike some horror stories Ive seen. The device functions on its own with basic temp settings, youre just missing a lot of the customization without bluetooth. Vapor quality is excellent, way better than the 3
