Ok so I had a EQ from Arizer years ago and when it died I went looking for the budget desktop option. The V Tower is basically the stripped down version, whip delivery only, no fan, no bag, just you and the glass whip. At first that annoyed me but after a few sessions I realized I actually prefer pulling through the whip over using bags. The all glass cyclone bowl gives you this incredibly pure flavor, way cleaner than any silicone parts. Dial control is fine, I run it at about 3 oclock on the dial and get thick consistent draws. My only gripe is the tubing got a little discolored after a few weeks but thats user error probably. Zero regrets going this route over spending twice as much on an XQ2 just for the balloon feature.

Decent vape for the price but I want to be upfront that this is strictly whip only. No fan, no balloon bag, just pull through the glass tube yourself. The unit itself sits on your desk and looks pretty dated, kind of like a cheap lab instrument. If you want bag capability look at the XQ2 which adds that but costs more. Vapor quality through the glass is good, I just wish there was more flexibility in delivery method. Returning and saving up for the XQ2.

This thing looks like a medical device from 2008. Sitting on my desk it genuinely looks embarrassing, big beige-ish plastic tower with a dial on the front. Vapor quality is good for the price though. If you can get past the aesthetics and the whip-only delivery its decent value.

Worked great for about 5 months then the heating just got inconsistent. Sometimes it heats fine, sometimes the same dial setting barely produces vapor. Tried cleaning thoroughly, no difference. Not sure if the element is going or if the dial is loose internally. Didnt expect to be troubleshooting at 5 months. Glass parts and whip are all fine, just the core heating function is unreliable now.

First desktop and I couldnt be happier. The cyclone bowl really does deliver cleaner flavor than my old portable. Setup took about 2 minutes, just plug it in and turn the dial. Nothing to download or pair.
